Sasken Q3 net dips to Rs 3.8 crore

Sasken Communication Technologies Limited on Saturday reported a dip in third quarter net profit at Rs 3.8 crore compared to Rs 12 crore for the same period in the last fiscal.

Revenues for the December quarter went up by eight per cent to Rs 141.3 crore, the Bangalore-based company said in a statement.

The telecom research and development and support outsourcing firm added seven new customers in the quarter.

"The consolidation of Sasken's business verticals to focus on handsets, semiconductors and networks, which was implemented in Q3, has made us better prepared to address the business context we are operating in," Mr Rajiv Mody, Chairman and CEO of the com pany said.
