Sona Koyo Q3 net up 10%

Sona Koyo, India’s largest manufacturer of steering systems, has reported a 10% increase in net profit at Rs 7.32 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 when compared with Rs 6.63 crore in Q3FY07.

Income from operations increased 14.67% to Rs 172 crore from Rs 150 in Q3FY07.

Earning before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) moved up 28.67% to Rs 19.3 crore from Rs 15 crore in the comparable quarter of the last fiscal.
