The board of directors of Moser Baer India, which met on January 31, 2008, has decided to acquire 100% shareholding of Moser Baer Entertainment from Moser Baer SEZ Developer, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
According to a release issued to the BSE today, the board also approved plans for a focused foray into creation of content to build synergies with the existing home video business.
The company reported (standalone) a net loss of Rs 20.45 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 when compared with a net profit of Rs 37.62 crore in Q3FY07. Total income increased to Rs 534.85 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 515.02 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
